Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to MBA programme at Anna University must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying admission. The eligibility criteria of Anna University MBA admission 2022 are as follows:

• Aspirants should have passed in a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years duration with no less than 50% marks (45% in case of candidates from reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
• Applicants should have done 10+2+3/4years exam scheme or 10+3 years Diploma +3years pattern or B. Tech. / B.E. / B. Pharm/ B.Arch.
• It is must for all candidates to appear in TANCET exam conducted by Anna University for MBA admission.

Anna University MBA Admission 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates can apply either online or offline as per their choice. Both the application modes are explained below:

Online Application

• At first, visit the official website of Anna University at https://www.annauniv.edu
• Click on TANCET & online application form.
• Complete the registration process.
• On successful registration, candidate will get a unique registration number and password.
• Fill in the required details in the application form.
• Upload a photograph as per prescribed format.
• Take the printout of the Application Form after submission
• Send the hard copy along with the important documents and the Demand Draft.

Offline Method

In case of offline application submission, candidates can obtain the application form from the specified Coordinating Centre by submitting a copy of the important documents. Candidates have to pay TANCET Application Fees in cash or Demand Draft. The authority will issue the TANCET hall ticket to those candidates who registered successfully and their TANCET application is in order.

Note: The Demand Draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST/ SCA categories) should be in favour of ‘The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University,’ payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalized bank.

Examination pattern

The TANCET exam includes three parts i.e. Part I, II, & III in which Part I & II is compulsory and Part III as per the discipline selected by the applicants at the time of TANCET application fill in process. The Part I & II of the exam will consist of 30 questions with 1 mark for each correct response while part III include 40 Questions in the selected field with 1 mark for each correct response. There will be negative marking of 1/3 for each wrong response given by candidate
