AMU 2022 Eligibility criteria
Candidates need to ensure their eligibility before appearing in the entrance examination. The eligibility criteria of AMU Admission 2022 for various courses are as follows:

AMU Admission Application Form 2022
AMU will release the application form for various undergraduate /postgraduate and Ph.D programmes. Candidates need to fill the separate application form for each programme. For some of the courses AMU application form 2022 will available probably in the month of January 2022.
The application procedure of AMU is listed below:
- The authority will release online application form for some of the AMU academic programmes whereas for some of the courses the application form will available through offline mode.
- Candidates can fill the online application form through visiting the official portal of AMU.
- In case of offline application mode, candidates first need to download form and then fill it manually.
- Applicants are allowed to fill the same application for the programmes for which written entrance test will be organized on same day such as B.Tech & B.Arch. However, under such situations, candidates have to pay an extra fee of Rs.100/-.
- Candidates should all the necessary details in the application form very carefully and correctly.

Application fee payment mode
Candidate can make the payment of application fee through any of the following modes:
- Online Payment: Using Net Banking or Debit Card/ Credit Card.
- Bank Challan –Through Canara Bank challan or ICICI
- Bank Demand Draft: Using Demand Draft drawn in the favor of “Finance Officer” payable at Aligarh.
AMU 2022 Examination pattern
The basic Examination pattern for AMU entrance exam 2022 for various courses is given below:
- Type of Questions – Objective type.
- Number of questions – differs from course to course
- Mode of exam: Offline (PBT)
- Exam Medium – English
- Subjects: Each academic programme will contain different subjects.
- Duration: For some of the entrance exams, the duration is 2 hours whereas some exam has duration of 3 hours.
- Negative Marking: For some courses such as B.Tech, B.Arch there is always negative marking for wrong answers. In addition, there is no negative marking for some of AMU’s exams.

AMU 2022 Syllabus
The syllabus of AMU entrance exam will vary for different courses. There is almost different syllabus for each course. For example, the syllabus of B.Tech programme will include the subjects of 12th standard while B.Arch will consist of hand sketching of scenes, book cover design, Design & Drawing of Greeting Cards, hoardings, logos, etc.
AMU 2022 Admit card
The authority will release the admit card for different exams through online mode. Aspirants, who submit the application form successfully can download their AMU admit card from the official website of University. It would seem that admit card will issue before two-three weeks of the entrance examination.
AMU Admission Result 2022
The university will announce the result of entrance exams on the notice board of respective faculty/centre/college/proctor’s office/controller’s website. Most probably, the result will declare in the month of May/June 2022.
AMU 2022 Counselling
Shortlisted candidates must attend the counselling in person in order to get admission to courses in particular faculty. The authority will display the list of shortlisted candidates for counseling process on the notice board of related faculty/ centre/ college/ controller’s website/ proctor’s office. The officials will also prepare a separate merit list for some of the courses on the basis of candidate’s performance in written test & interview (wherever valid). The final allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit rank obtained in entrance exam.
