AEEE 2022: Application Form (Released), Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern

AEEE 2022 application form is now available. Amrita University annually invites candidates for admission in engineering program offered by it through AEEE exam. Interested candidates need to apply for the AEEE 2022 exam by filling the application form for the same. Before proceeding for the application form, they should check the eligibility criteria set by the University to ensure if they can appear for the exam or not.

The AEEE 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in both the modes i.e. Remote Proctored Examination (RPE) and Computer Based Test (CBT). In computer-based test a computer system will be allotted to the candidates to mark the answers to the questions displayed on their computer screen. The total duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

AEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria laid down by the authority are provided below-

  • Age limit: Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July, 2001.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed class 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects. Those appearing in class 12th are also eligible to apply for the exam.

AEEE 2022 Application Form

Candidates can apply for the exam by filling the online application form or offline OMR application. The form has been released on 30th December 2021 at the official website of the Amrita University. Students should keep their documents handy before they start filling the form. They first need to register themselves for the exam and then fill the application form. Those who want to take the computer-based test need to book the slots after the registration.

Offline form can be bought from the University counter of Amrita school of engineering and should be submitted along with a DD made in favour of “Amrita school of engineering” payable at Coimbatore. The details in the application form must be entered carefully as no correction window will be provided once the form is submitted successfully. Candidates should send the offline form on or before the due date specified by the authority to avoid rejection of applications.

Steps to Register Online

Step 1: Candidates can register for AEEE 2022 by visiting the official website (Amrita Online Admissions Portal).

Once you are registered successfully then you need to provide information including your personal information, academic information, income details, preference of academic programme, mode of admission through AEEE/JEE.

Step 2: You need to upload the recently taken colored photograph and signature. Here are the specifications of the same:

  • The photograph should be in JPG/JPEG format and size of the same should be less than 200 KB.
  • The signature should be in JPG/JPEG format and size of the same should be less than 200 KB.
  • Photograph dimension: 3.5 cms width and 4.5 cms height
  • Signature dimension: 1.27 cms width and 0.85 cms height

Note:

No blurred and defaced photograph will be accepted.

All images should be in JPG/JPEG format and of 150px width and 200px height. Your application will be rejected by the concerned authority in case you upload black and white photo, not clear or blurred photograph.

The size of the signature must not exceed 200KB and in JPG/JPEG format.

Step 3: Upon submitting the required details take a preview of your application form simply by clicking the preview button. If you have committed some sort of mistakes in the application for then you can edit the same and save it. Once you find everything is correct then you can move to the payment page.

Step 4: Make payment of application fee

Candidates must pay a sum of Rs. 1000/- in form of the application fee for the exam. The payment can be made via online mode i.e. through credit card, debit card and net banking. For OMR application form, DD must be drawn stating the required amount.

AEEE 2022 Slot Booking

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will start AEEE 2022 slot booking in online mode at its official website. One can reserve her test date and time before the given deadline. Upon successful booking of slots you’ll receive confirmation through SMS/Email. Here is the procedure to book your slot:

  • Go to the official website of AEEE and login using your application number and date of birth.
  • Choose test date of your choice.
  • You need to choose the test slot which is considered the final state of slot booking procedure.
  • Upon successful slot booking, candidates will be able to download their respective admit card.

AEEE 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for AEEE  will typically be based on that of class 11th and class 12th level. Candidates need to study the topics under the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to ace the exam. Here are some of the key topics the candidates should go through-

Mathematics: Complex number, permutation and combination, binomial theorem, sequence and series, matrices and determinants, quadratic equation, trigonometry, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, differential calculus, integral calculus, differential calculus, 2D-geometry, straight line, circles etc.

Physics: Mechanics, units and dimension, oscillations and waves, heat and thermodynamics, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, electromagnetic induction, electromagnetic waves, ray and wave optics, modern physics, etc.

Chemistry: Basic chemical calculations, atomic structure and periodicity, chemical bonding, S-block and hydrogen, P-block elements, d and f block elements, solid states, coordination compounds, gaseous state and surface chemistry, thermodynamics, hydrocarbons and polymers, etc.

Here are some useful preparations tips for the students to qualify the exam-

  1. Make a practical timetable and follow it diligently.
  2. Collect the study materials from the reliable sources only. Do not waste time only in gathering books and other materials.
  3. Prepare the basic concepts first and then only go ahead for the tricky ones.
  4. Practice mathematics regularly.
  5. Solve sample papers and online mock test series to know the areas in which you need improvement.
  6. Avoid using mobile phones whenever you start your studies as it will distract you from achieving your daily goals.

AEEE 2022 Admit Card

One can download his/her AEEE admit card upon completion of the slot booking process. Those have entered the class 12 marks are only permitted to book their slot for the exam. It will be possible to download your admit card only after the completion of slot booking process.

  • The admit card for CBT test will be made available at the time of slot booking.
  • For pen and paper-based test, the admit card can be downloaded from the official website of the University.
  • Students need to take a printout copy of the AEEE 2022 hall ticket and preserve it till the admission is done.
  • They must carry the admit card along with a valid ID proof to the exam hall or else they won’t be allowed to the test.
  • Candidates should thoroughly check the details printed on the hall ticket and in case of discrepancy, they must contact the authority immediately.

AEEE 2022 Result and Counselling

  • The result will be declared on the official website in the 1st week of May 2022.
  • The authority will publish a merit list to shortlist the candidates based on their performance in the exam.
  • Selected candidates will then need to register for the counselling procedure.
  • They need to download the counselling call letter from the website and produce the same on the day of the counselling.
  • Candidates also need to bring their documents in original and photocopy form to the counselling venue for document verification.
  • Once the counselling is done, students will be allotted a seat in a branch of engineering based on their merit rank.
