In order to apply for admission, candidates need to be sure if they fulfill the eligibility criteria for PG and Diploma admission 2022:
- Candidates must have completed the qualifying degree examination before applying for PG and Diploma admission into the Berhampur University.
Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Courses

How to Apply?
If candidates find themselves eligible for admission in the PG and diploma courses, candidates will be required to fill and submit the application form as according to the steps given in the following points:
- Candidates, first, will be required to download the application form which will be available on the official website of the university in the pdf format.
- Candidates need to fill the application form with the information required to be filled in the application form.
- Further, candidates need to attach the certificates’ copies with the application form and send the same to the given address through registered or speed post.
Admission Process
- Candidates will be offered the admission in the university in the PG and diploma course as per the directions of the University and Rules for Admission structured by the P.G. Council and duly permitted by the Syndicate.
- The University will calculate the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination and career points to offer admission in the P.G. courses such as Chemistry, Botany, Electronic Science, Zoology, Physics, Marine Sciences, Home Science, Mathematics, History, Journalism & Mass Communication, IR & PM, Political Science, Odia, Economics, Law (LLM), English, Commerce, Linguistics and Diploma Courses i.e., Russian Language and Tourism & Indian Monuments etc.
- Candidates, who wish to take admission into the MCA & MBA programmes, will be required to take part in the Odisha JEE 2022.
Application Fee
- Candidates before submitting the application form will be required to pay the application fee of Rs. 600/.
- The candidates belonging to the reserved category like SC, ST and physically handicapped will be required to pay the application fee of Rs.500/.
