Eligibility Criteria

General criteria

• Candidates from Tamil Nadu state who have completed 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th and 12^th examination in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
• Applicants from Tamil Nadu state who have completed 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th and 12^th examination or their equivalent examination from schools located outside Tamil Nadu can also apply
• Wards/Children of Central Government Employees may also eligible to apply, irrespective of their resident, provided their parents/guardians have been serving in Tamil Nadu constantly for the last 5 years at the time of submission of application.
• Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre Officers otherwise not resident of Tamil Nadu may apply for admission.
• Sons & daughters of Employees in Public Sector or Government recognized Institutions who employed in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years at the time of submission of application for admission may also apply irrespective of their nativity.

Application form will be available online as well as offline. Interested and eligible candidates must submit the duly filled application to the “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai-600025” before the due date. Candidate can submit their applications by following any of three ways prescribed by the university:

• Online Mode:

Interested and eligible candidates can register online through visiting the official website of university. After online registration, applicants can access and download the application form from the official website of the University by making the payment of applicable fee through the online mode.

• In Person:

Applicants can obtain the application form in person from the designated centers against the payment of Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- in case of candidates from SCA/ SC/ST of Tamil Nadu state). Payment can be made through demand draft or via cash.

• Through Post:
